Realme Watch S and Watch S Pro: All you need to know
Realme came up with their latest creations on 23rd December 2020. Called the Relme watch Pro, and their one up over it called the Realme Watch S Pro. Considering the large price gap between the two, this blog takes a closer look at The Realme Watch S and Watch S Pro and see what makes it “tick”.
Design:
The realme watch s features a vibrant 3.3cm Color Touch Display, while the realme watch s pro features a slightly larger 3.5cm AMOLED Touchscreen Always-on Display. Both have an Auto-Brightness feature inbuilt. The Watches come with a beautiful Count-up Bezel design that mimics the likes of trademark diver watches like the Omega Seamaster 300m. The Realme Watch S has a 360×360 screen resolution. The Realme Watch S Pro, on the other hand, has a larger 454×454 pixel resolution with 450nits of brightness, making it quite visible even under strong lighting. Much needed, especially when the watch has a 100 different interchangeable and fully customizable watch faces worth showing off.
Power and Endurance:
The Realme Watch S claims a whopping battery life of 15 days with continued usage, while its Pro counterpart falls short of a day claiming 14 days of battery life with continued usage. Both the watches are, as the company claims, “inherently water-resistant“. With the Realme Watch S having an IP68 rating with up to 1.5m water resistance, this makes the watch more splash-proof than anything more. The Watch S Pro, on the other hand, claims 5ATM water resistance up to 50m allowing the wearer to even go for a swim with the device and maybe even record a swim lap or two.
Health Tracking and Exercise Modes:
Both the watches come with many health and fitness-related features, including a Blood Oxygen monitoring sensor. The Blood Oxygen monitoring system measures the blood oxygen levels and keeps track of the wearer’s overall health. The Heart Rate Monitor does exactly as the name suggests except with greater accuracy thanks to the watch’s advanced PPG Bio Sensors that collect data and provide Heart Rate readings in real-time.
However, the star attraction of these watches come in the form of the 14 plus modes it features that cater to almost any form of sport or activity one could find. From modes for indoor activities like Yoga and indoor walking to modes for outdoor activities like Cycling and Basketball and even watersports like swimming, Realme has managed to cover all aspects on land and underwater. Shame there was nothing for the air to complete covering all the elements.
The realme watch s price in India stands at Rs.4,999 while the realme watch s pro price in India stands at Rs.9,999.
